The RB-LWB recumbent bicycle is a fun and easy to build bicycle for the first time builder.  It's a simple, inexpensive fun project that will get you riding with out draining your bank account.  This DVD video starts out with showing you what type of old bike frames to use (old 10 speeds are used in the video) and which frames you should avoid.  Each step of the building process is explained and shown with clear up close video.  Showing you where to measure, cut and fit each part.  All you have to do is follow along with each step.  Many tips and tricks are shared to help make this fun and enjoyable.

The jig used for building the RB-LWB is made from a single 2x4, and some simple screws and bolts found at any hardware store or home center.  It's simple design takes very little time to complete and will produce a very straight frame.  If you are not doing the welding yourself, it can be transported in the front seat of a compact car.

Shown in the building steps is how to custom build the frame size to a individual.  The size of the finished frame will be tailored to you or the rider you are building it for, and is easy to do.

If the cost of buying a new recumbent is holding you back from getting out on the trails.  Building your own recumbent could be the answer.  It's not only cost saving, but rewarding as well.
